Yesterday my best friend and I set out with the goal to summit 1st peak at Seymour before the sunrise. With our new splitboards all ready to go we planed on meeting at the base of the mountain at 5:45am. As we both aproched the road that leads you up to Seymour we were meet with a nice guy posted up at at a road block. Apparently Seymour will not open their roads until 6:30am. Lesson learned lol. This still did not stop us from getting a beautiful sunrise about mid way up the mountain. With a hot cup of coffee in hand “life is good”. After we watched the lights being turning on in Vancouver we summited the rest of the mountain and enjoyed a crusty hard packed ride down : )
