For a little fun my girlfriend and I decided to get some action on one of our last days in Leh. For only a few dollars we signed up to river raft down the Zanskar River. This river starts in the peaks of the Himalayas and runs down to Pakistan. We were picked up fashionably late at 9:00am and started our 2 hour drive on a miniature version of death road. Once we got to our launch point the guide briefed us with a quick 5 min safety announcement. Before we knew it we were heading for our first class 3+ rapid. Let’s just say that fun is the first thing on their list in Leh and safety is somewhere after that. Near the end the 3 hour raft we headed for our last set of rapids. In classic fashion the boat behind us took a huge flip and the real action began. Paddles, booties & people were everywhere. Once everything and everyone was accounted for we all shared some great laughs together over an indian lunch. Continue reading

Engaged in Leh – Ladakh India
With only just a glance and a smile, I first met the love of my life in high school during the year of 1995. 14 years later we reconnected and fell in love. Over the last two and a half years I knew that I would spend the rest of my life sharing amazing moments & adventures with my love. One place that got us both excited to travel was India. The moment that we committed to this trip I committed to making it extra special by asking her to marry me in Leh, Ladakh. A beautiful evening arrived at Shanti Stupa looking over Leh. Everything was perfect and I asked her to marry me. Delightfully she answered with “YES”. I take pride in sharing this exciting time with you all. Life is good! Continue reading
New Logo By: Robert Queton
I am really excited about the new branding that Robert Queton has created for Nature Calls. It was an absolute pleasure working with creative Queton once again. His creative process from paper & pen to adobe is a skill that I appreciate in a big way. By the end of the month we are planing on launching a huge project that Robert has also created the art work for. My good friend Mark Therriault is embarking on a journey to the summit of Mt. Everest and we will be documenting his adventurer over the next 9 months. The next 2-3 week we will be working our butt’s off to get the website and design all up and running. Let us know what you think about the LOGO! Continue reading
