Wedge Mountain – Garibaldi BC

Over the past 10 year I have always wanted to climb Wedge Mountain. There is something about its beautiful shape and landscape that could not escape my mind. My good friend Mark Therriault also has a big dream that he shared with me 6 months back. This dream, that he is making a reality, is to climb the tallest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. Over the next 9 months we will be documenting Mark’s journey to Everest. With no hesitation Mark replied to my invite to climb Wedge with a “YES”. Continue reading

Trout is all – Rolf Nylinder

This is a great little video that my good friend recommended to me. If you are a fly fisherman like me you will have a solid connection to this film. Rolf Nylinder did a great job putting the footage together and picked a great song by “the tallest man on earth”. Enjoy!

Finding Oregon – Timelapse Photography

Finding Oregon is the compilation of six months of timelapse photography across the state of Oregon, punctuated by a 1600 mile road trip in September. This was filmed at the Columbia River Gorge, Mt Hood, Mt Jefferson, the Southwestern Coast, the Alvord Desert, Leslie Gulch, Blue Mountains, Crater Lake, Eagle Cap Wilderness, Deschutes River, and more. Some of the best stuff that I have seen. Enjoy!.

Tipping Barrels – Journey Into The Great Bear

My friend Ashley knows what’s up. Today she shared an amazing film with me that her friends in Tofino have been working on. Its a great look at the beauty of the Great Bear Rainforest and their love for surfing. It is huge, that guys like Ben & Ian are out their sharing their stories so that we really get the importance of preserving our environment.

Sloquet Hot Springs

Last month my lady and I decided to pack up and head to one of our favourite places to camp. Sloquet it located between Lilloet lake and Harrison lake. You can access the site through Pemberton or Harrison. From Vancouver it is about a 4-5 hours drive. Trust me, it is worth the distance. I don’t recommend going to this site on a long weekend unless you feel like partying like it’s 1999. Here are a few pictures of our trip. for more information on how to get there, do your self a favour and buy a backroads map book at www.backroadmapbooks.com
