My bro Andrew Maitland and I headed up to local mountain Mount Seymour for our first tour on the splitboards for the season. As we reached the top I set my eyes on this line and was supported by my brother to go get it. The sun was out, snow pack was stable & I was feeling it. A great start to what is going to be an unbelievable year. Enjoy!
To celebrate my best friends birthday we decided to tackle our first shred day of the year at Whistler. 84cm in the past 48 hours set up for an epic start to the season. Here are a couple clips from the day. Enjoy! Continue reading →
My man Mr. Brett Beadle joined me on his day off up in the backroads of Black Tusk. This was probably both of our last rides for the season so we made the most of it. I have to give the MVP award to Brett’s dog Sunny for keeping up with us loonatics all day. Continue reading →

We left Vancouver at 10 pm on Friday night and got to the parking lot of Mt Baker around midnight. I had tried to sleep after work but the excitement was killing me and I just wanted to get started. By 1 am we were on the trail and on our way to the tip of the Coleman glacier…the guide book said it would take about 3 hrs to get there and we did it in just under 2 so we were feeling great when we got there so quickly…I thought to myself, we’ll be back to the car at 8 in the morning!! We geared up and started heading up the glacier. The weather was great but it was much colder than I expected. As my hands began to get numb I thought about my nice warm summit gloves I had left in my apartment, good call I thought to myself! Continue reading →
