My buddy Kyle sent me a link to this video today and was happy to see that Tarp Surfing is still alive. A couple years ago I saw a video on YouTube that was not as good as this one, but still got me super hyped on this original idea. If anyone wants to try this out with me over the summer then drop me a line. Enjoy this feel good short film created by Visual Culture Continue reading

Seeking for a new port -ALASKA
I love these small films that have a message and inspire young people to get outside. This ain’t just your common surf trip film, this quest is all about finding if there still exists a balance between our daily habits and wilderness. Are we losing all our roots to the profit of a virtual life?

Switchblade Surfboards – Vancouver BC
If you are one of the few dedicated surfers who live in Vancouver BC and from time to time need work done on your board then I got the answer for you. On the last days of my holiday on the North Shore I took a shallow turn and punched in the fin box on my board. My man Mark suggested I call up Chris @ Switchblade Surfboards and get them to take a look at it. Long story short, I was really impressed with their work and I am happy to see this craft alive in Vancouver BC. They also design and create hand crafted custom surfboards to order. Westport WA

435KM from Vancouver you will find an old fishing town called Westport that is now occupied by a group of surf junkies like myself. I started going to Westport about 5 years ago with friends because the ferries to Vancouver Island were getting pricey. When we decided to try The Port, I was so jammed on how consistent the surf was and how affordable the weekends ended up being. Most of the time we stay at The Chateau Westport when we are down their. The location is great and the hot tub does not hurt. You can visit Westportcam for live webcam shots of the surf.
Dagdraumar – Allan Wilson
My friend Alayna shared this film with me today. being someone who has made surfing a big part of my life I have always run into people body boarding out in the surf. I would have to say that I never took them serious and frankly I always thought it was kinda lame. Well that has all changed after watching these talented gents out in the water. This is a beautifully done film by Allan Wilson. Enjoy!
