Seeking for a new port -ALASKA

I love these small films that have a message and inspire young people to get outside. This ain’t just your common surf trip film, this quest is all about finding if there still exists a balance between our daily habits and wilderness. Are we losing all our roots to the profit of a virtual life?

9 Lives Adventures

My Girlfriend shared with me a video that Brian Ceci created for the luxury fashion brand Obakki. With this I came across another film that he did on an amazing local project that Karim Ladki’s started called 9 Lives Adventure based out of BC Canada. Karim fractured his C7 vertabrae in an accident and after felt inspired to provide extreme adventure travel to disabled individuals who wish to push their limitless boundaries and furthermore, create a forum and community for those who wish to tell their stories. Switchblade Surfboards – Vancouver BC

If you are one of the few dedicated surfers who live in Vancouver BC and from time to time need work done on your board then I got the answer for you. On the last days of my holiday on the North Shore I took a shallow turn and punched in the fin box on my board. My man Mark suggested I call up Chris @ Switchblade Surfboards and get them to take a look at it. Long story short, I was really impressed with their work and I am happy to see this craft alive in Vancouver BC. They also design and create hand crafted custom surfboards to order.
